Managing Director, Internet Capital Group

Doug Alexander is a Managing Director at Internet Capital Group. He has had many roles at ICG including CEO of WiseWire Technologies, which was successfully sold to Lycos; Chairman of Verticalnet through its IPO; CEO of ICG Europe; and CEO of Mobility Technologies. In addition to these roles, Alexander's primary focus at ICG has been to sponsor and oversee investments in several partner companies that have included Blackboard (NASDAQ: BBBB), Verticalnet (NASDAQ:VERT), eMerge Interactive (NASDAQ: EMRG), Arbinet-thexchange (NASDAQ: ARBX), WiseWire (acquired by Lycos), LinkShare (acquired by Rakuten), CreditTrade, StarCite, Mobility Technologies, and Investor Force. In addition to Investor Force, Doug currently serves on the boards of LinkShare, CreditTrade, StarCite, ICG Commerce and WhiteFence.

Prior to joining ICG, Alexander co-founded Reality Online in 1989. Reality Online was an early innovator in the development of award-winning financial planning tools and online services aimed at the individual investor. With the advent of the Internet, Doug transformed the company into a leading provider of Internet solutions to the retail brokerage industry, and then sold the company to Reuters in February 1994. Over the following 3 years, Alexander became a key contributor to Reuters' many Internet initiatives and a frequent speaker on the Internet and its impact on the financial services industry.

Prior to co-founding Reality Online, Doug was a partner with Strategic Management Group, a corporate training firm and three-time Inc. 500 company.  Alexander graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. 
 

Founder and CEO, Client Opinions

Colin Wahl is the Founder of Investor Force and is an active Vice-Chairman. Currently he is Founder and CEO of Client Opinions, a firm dedicated to leveraging technology to provide an automated, measurable and continuous method of obtaining client feedback, ensuring client research is a proactive and on-going part of the way a company does business. 

 
Prior to starting Client Opinions, Colin served as an Adjunct Professor at The University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. Previously, Wahl was Founder and President of Momentum Group, Inc. a firm that specialized in providing strategic consulting to investment companies. Earlier in his career, Colin was a Vice President with SEI Investments and a Brand Manager with The Procter and Gamble Company. Colin began his career with KPMG.
 
Wahl holds an M.B.A. with distinction from the University of Michigan and B.Com from the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Managing Partner, XT Capital

Frank Minard is Managing Partner at XT Capital Partners, LLC, a sales and marketing specialist firm focused on raising assets from institutional investors on behalf of alternative asset managers. As Investor Force's Chairman, Minard is responsible for helping to lead the overall business strategy including building relationships with investment management firms, consulting firms, plan sponsors and their associations.

Previously, Frank was a Managing Director and Global Head of Marketing and Client Service with Morgan Stanley Investment Management where his primary responsibilities focused on leading the firm's marketing efforts in the institutional investment management business. Prior positions include Chairman, Global Investment Management, Bankers Trust Company; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management; and Director of Sales and Marketing, Oppenheimer Capital. Minard began his career as a Plan Sponsor where he was responsible for the Bell System Savings Plan and the ATT Pension Funds.

Following a four-year enlistment in the Navy during the Vietnam War, Minard graduated with an M.B.A. in Finance with honors from Rutgers University and has a B.A. degree in English from the University of North Carolina. 
 

CEO Investor Force

Jim Morrissey is the Chief Executive Officer of Investor Force. He has pioneered the development of web-based institutional investment performance information for the Financial Services industry. Morrissey is responsible for establishing strategic direction, leading the management team, guiding Investor Force's strategic alliances and managing the implementation and execution of Investor Force's business model. Jim has over two decades of experience in general management, complex selling and negotiation, marketing and strategic analysis. Morrissey, who joined Investor Force at its founding in 1999, has successfully raised over $75 million in four rounds of equity investment for the company. During his tenure with Investor Force, Jim has also completed three critical mergers and acquisitions transactions, and established the company as one of the leading data aggregator and technology solutions in the institutional asset management business.

Previously, Morrissey was a Principal with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he led the firm's global marketing business. Earlier, he worked in the fixed income division at Goldman Sachs & Co., and gained significant brand management and sales management experience with The Coca Cola Company and Procter & Gamble.

Morrissey received his M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Siena College (Loudonville, NY). He currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of The Miquon School (Conshohocken, PA).  

Executive Chairman

Jim Satloff joined InvestorForce in early May and brings with him deep executive-level experience and a track record of global leadership in financial services and technology. Jim was Executive Managing Director for Standard & Poor’s Investment Services business where he had direct responsibility for S&P’s portfolio of global institutional markets businesses and for all aspects of the strategy, growth and worldwide expansion of S&P’s businesses in the institutional investor market and mutual fund segments.

Jim was also President of S&P’s Compustat division, where he was responsible for managing the global technology financial services organization and delivering products and services to support institutional investment research and portfolio analysis. Additionally, Jim has been CEO of an investment bank. 
 
Jim has an MBA from Columbia University Business School and a BA from Columbia College, where he majored in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence with a concentration in Humanities and French.
 
He enjoys skiing and ski racing, photography, poker and bridge.
General Counsel, Managing Director & Secretary

Suzanne is general counsel, managing director and secretary of Internet Capital Group. Since joining ICG in January 2000, Suzanne has been involved with numerous acquisitions, dispositions and corporate restructurings. She provides legal advice to ICG management and Board of Directors, as well as to partner companies. Additionally she is responsible for legal compliance matters, including compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Prior to joining ICG, Suzanne practiced in the business department at Dechert LLP, where she was a member of the mergers and acquisitions and corporate and securities practice groups.  While at Georgetown University Law Center, Suzanne was a notes editor for Law and Policy in International Business.

Vice President, Internet Capital Group

Phil Rooney is Vice President of Treasury and Tax at Internet Capital Group. His responsibilities include the coordination and oversight of ICG's internal tax affairs as well as consulting with ICG's partner companies on tax matters.

Prior to joining ICG, Rooney worked for 15 years with KPMG LLP and Price Waterhouse LLP. He spent a significant portion of his time in recent years working with ICG, Safeguard Scientifics and other partner companies in developing their corporate tax strategies.

Rooney is a CPA and member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Drexel University.
